Château Tour de Bellegarde belongs to M. Philippe Janaud, a third-generation winegrower. He produces wine from 65 hectares of vines (55 of which produce red wine, and 10 white wine). The estate is located in the village of Villegouge, bordering on the Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac appellations, and quite close to Pomerol and Lalande de Pomerol. The soil is mainly clay-limestone.
The Bordeaux Rouge is made predominately from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The Bordeaux Blanc is made from the Sauvignon blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle varieties. The vines are over 20 years old, which accounts for low yields of high quality wine. Because of this outstanding quality, Château Tour de Bellegarde is entitled to the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation.

The Château's red wines are best enjoyed at room temperature, between 15°C and 18°C. The white, rosé and crémant are perfect served chilled, but not iced (from 2-6°C).
The Warmth of our regular range : This is a very well-balanced, subtle and elegant wine. The bouquet is fruitly, and the wine is very attractive on the palate.
The generosity of our “ Cuvée Sélection ” : This is a full-bodied wine with a delicately spicy flavour. The wine's tannin and deep colour mean it can age very well.

“ Cuvée Marie ” : A Noble Bordeaux : Low yields, and traditional winemaking combined with up-to-date oenology, account for the fine wine's excellent ageing potential. Cuvée Marie has a great deal of delicious, soft tannin, and is aged in oak barrels. The colour is ruby-red and the bouquet has hints of vanilla and red fruit, backed up by subtle oak aromas.
The Elegance of our Bordeaux blanc Sauvignon : The crisp, aromatic wine is a perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood dishes.
The pure pleasure of our Bordeaux Rosé : This wine is mode from Cabernet grapes. It is fruitly, light and ideal with your summer meals (salads, delicatessen meats, barbecues, etc.).
The Finesse of our Crémant de Bordeaux : Crémant de Bordeaux is a naturally sparkling wine made in the traditional way. it is aged in underground limestone cellars for several years. Our Crémant has small, elegant bubbles and a delicate bouquet du to the finest Bordeaux grape varieties.
